Registration of residence de tourism at the Mairie.

Hi does anyone know if we now have to declare our rental activity independently at the Mairie of the town our residence is in?
We have never been asked to do this separately. Our appartment is in an ex Pierre et Vacances résidence de Tourism but since they stopped operating here, some owners signed up to the new management company Lagrange, and others, like us have continued with a Mandat de Gestion with Maeva.com.and they call us Maeva Particuliers. Each appartment is rented separately.  Thé résidence as a whole is classified as a résidence de Tourism but I have now seen on the Maeva website that we may have been required to get a registered number from the Mairie in order to rent out.We'd assumed, maybe wrongly, that we came under the umbrella of the whole residence?
