Andilly.Residhotel . Anyone to share legal fees with me ?

Hi

I have apartments in Andilly with Residhotel which I want to get French legal advice on as I think some of the papers I signed are not legal. Now about 20% of the very vocal French people are just being dropped from my complex as  I think they were heading legal action against Residhotel . Now legal fees seem to be very high in France compared to Ireland and I cannot afford to pay all the fees myself so I am looking for someone out there who has apartments in Andilly (outside Paris) and who wants to find out if what they are doing or paying is legal ? Can you please contact me ?

Thanks

Carol

any reply from the embassy-- i rang pascal donohoes office today looking to speak to the women who checking out the situation

Shane Ross is the new Minister now, much better chance with him than the ar$e licker Donohoe. Ross likes taking on big businesses i.e. the banks.

Nothing , not even an acknowledgement of the letter ...which says a lot about the Embassy . I will write again at weekend and send a copy to Shane Ross too ....yes he is good but now not in opposition may change (they all do ) so not sure her will do anything but will try .

I emailed Shane Ross, got no acknowledgement but I am sure he has a lot on his plate with his new portfolio. I'd urge everyone on here to email him also. The only way things will change if there is mass movement from Irish investors. It's not enough to look on while others do the donkey work. In my opinion there aren't enoght active members here.

Hi Juan

Totally agree with what you are saying. Lets all email Shane Ross expressing our concerns in relation to "Leaseback mess"that so many people have found themselves in through no fault

of their own

People have very serious concerns on this forum, may I suggest we meet as a concerned group and organise ourselves and plan a suitable response. D'ont sit back and let others do it, we all have an imput into proposed meeting

Who is interested?

Hi

I rand the French Embassy and asked they why I never got a reply to my letter and the receptionist told me gthat she would have to look in to it as they always reply ! She asked what it was about and I told her and she said I should write to the Irish Embassy in France !!! I said I don't think so ....but I may do that too . She says she will phone me back in a dfay or so when she finds my letter !!I said I expect the Ambassador has it as I hand wrote the letter and put personal over it and a  x at the back of it to try to by pass the secretaries !!!(was told this is the best way to do it !) so she said she would ask him ! I will let you know .

I am now writing to Charlie Flanagan as he is Minister of Foreign Affairs and I think this is his area and not Shane Ross.

carol

I will also email Charlie Flanagan

face to face with the embassy and the ministers is the only way things are goin to happin !!

we need some exposure about french back leasing ..ie primetime/news. ect

Hi

I phoned the French Embassy to know why I had no reply to my letter and the lady told me that she had no idea ! So she wouls have to talk to all in the Embassy as it might have gotten  lost somewhere (which saya a lot about the French Embassy ) She said she would ring me back but never did . I waited 4 days for her but still no phone call so I phoned her and she told me that she had lost my phone number so could not reply .....to which I lost my rag with her !! I then said I would send the letter that day by registered post again and told her I expected a reply or I was going to Prime Time about this whole matter.

I agree we should all meet up , form a proper group with a clear agenda ....and get them . Who wants to meet ? I am in Dublin but don't mind to go somewhere to meet others .

Hi,

I have a property in SW france and use the management company eurogroups .I have found a buyer for my house as i need to sell ASAP

and  was told last september that I need to pay an exit fee of 12,500 euros, plus the TVA which is now around 12,000 euros as i have had the property for 9 yrs.

I have now found a buyer and eurogroups have informed me that the exit fee is  now 26,000 euros.

Can anyone shed any light on how they can do this?

Also I did not re sign anything after the 9 yrs was up on the lease, so am I atill tied in with them??

Any help advice would be appreciated.

You need to start a NEW TOPIC so people can answer your question . Call the topic something like

ANYONE SOLD THEIR LEASBACK AND ASKED TO PAY DOUBLE THE GET OUT MONEY ???

or something like that as it is a new questiono o.k ??

I will send you the info tomorrow about the places in the UK that could help you

Hi eamon

I also have an apartment in andilly

I knew nothing about a group of French owners taking legal action against residhotel. On what grounds are they taking legal action do you know?

I see from tripadvisor reviews that our complex may be let out as a kind of accomodation place for homeless and immigrants. Do you know if this is true? I also see from reviews that the complex is not in great condition. Have you ever actually visited your apartment and what do you think if the location and quality of apartment??

I just wish I had never heard the word French leaseback. Nothing but trouble

Thanks eamon
