accountant

8 Décembre 2008

Hi !

We just bought a property in the south of France under a lease back scheme and would like to know if anyone could recommend a good accountant who can deal with our tax forms?(not too expensive one!).

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Browny.

2033-C Depreciation

In 2003 we purchased a light leaseback property near Beziers. Occupancy was in June 2005 and so far we have no problems with the decision we made. We have made additions to the property which originally was a 1 bed mezzanine by adding a complete floor, which has provided a large upstairs bedroom. We now realise the mezzanine was a mistake for us.

I see emails from Gabrielle Achilleos from the company HELP SERVICES ON LINE apearing under the various topics in this forum. I think people should be aware that Ms Achilleos was an employee of Conseille Patrimione (and for all I know still is) in Nice and was to the fore in selling the disasterous (for all investors that is) Les Jardins D'Elisa development in Beausoleil. I can personally state that she dealt with me and give me incorrect information and misleading information about this investment.

My leaseback nightmare

13 Novembre 2008

We bought our leaseback back in 2003 - we were paid rent only once! for three months, we did however claim back the vat/tva, 15K.

The management company went bust. The complete complex was to be a residence of toursim, but the developer sold houses to be lived in around the year. We then put the property on the market - it eventually sold in July of 2008. Yes July 2008. In the meantime we've been paying our taxes and our French mortgage.

Leaseback through pensions

There is finally a safe way to stop the pension rot

Old age should be a time of plenty, not one of worry! The government are cutting out state benefits indiscriminately in light of the global financial situation, leaving many older people without a medical card.

As we are all aware, most pensions in Ireland are underperforming at the moment with some pension values dropping by more than 50%.

Leaseback : No Problem

29 Octobre 2008

This is intended for those considering a French leaseback investment.

I have read a message from Seamus, the administrator of the forum saying that this forum is maybe not to his advantage because it is only used when people have a problem with their own leaseback. While this is a function of the forum, I hope it is also a function of the forum to inform those considering the French leaseback option.
