I think Pierre et Vacances have terminated my lease!

Today, by a County Court Baliff, I have received a 'Notice from Lessee to Vacate'  issued by a Paris solicitor on behalf of Pierre et Vacances, for my residence La Foret in Flaine which has 131 leaseback apartments.  The first 9 years of the lease expire on 30 April 2015 and the served document gives notice to terminate the lease on 30/4/15.  I therefore 'think' Pierre et Vacances are using this notice to vacate so that they dont have to offer the lease renewal - I have heard absolutely nothing from Pierre et Vacances.

Hi 
I am interested in serving a CDP but am nervous that Odalys would turn around and opt out leaving me in 
a difficult situation where I have to find another management company. Do you think this would happen or 
should I go ahead and serve a CDP? Also I have contacted some of the other owners of our building, could
we share the cost of a CDP and put all our names on it?

VAT payback

I wonder if anyone could clarify the current situation on repaying VAT on a
French leaseback property. Did the law change recently? Our property Domaine
de la Mandoune is experiencing all of the many problems discussed on this
forum, no rent, late rent, bad management etc, etc. The agent is Mona Lisa

We are a very strong collective of 20 + owners who are in regular contact and
would appreciate any clarification on repaying the VAT if you break the lease
early?

When we have paid our mortgage off, would I be correct in my understanding that we can only live in the property as long as we don't sign another lease again? And that the disadvantage of not signing another lease is that there will no longer be a 'guaranteed' rent? Also that we are not required to sign another lease as long as we give the relevant notice at the required time? Are standard estate agents (who will only pay rent where tenants are installed) likely to take on a leaseback property?

I have just joined the forum, probably like most people, maybe 5 or 6 years too late! I joined the forum because more and more problems have beset the development in which I am an owner. We have been through the missed rents, the dereliction of duties concerning the upkeep of the development, the receivership of the initial promoter/operator, the selection of a new operator and are now likely looking at more missed rents, more dereliction of duties concerning upkeep etc. etc. etc.
