Hi,

I have a property in SW france and use the management company eurogroups .I have found a buyer for my house as i need to sell ASAP

and  was told last september that I need to pay an exit fee of 12,500 euros, plus the TVA which is now around 12,000 euros as i have had the property for 9 yrs.

I have now found a buyer and eurogroups have informed me that the exit fee is  now 26,000 euros.

Can anyone shed any light on how they can do this?

Also I did not re sign anything after the 9 yrs was up on the lease, so am I atill tied in with them??

ANYONE DEFAULTED ON FRENCH BANK AND DID THEY COME AFTER YOU ???

I have had a few phone calls from different people who are about to defalut and have their propery sold and they are worried what will happen next. I am not in that situation so do not know . 

Can anyone who is /was in this position please write about what happened in your case so they can read it here ?

HI 

thank you all who called me over the past few days . I like all of you are disgusted with waht I read on this forum . Now we have ALL been taken for mugs by the French Government , French Management Companies, French Banks , French Notaries etc, etc. 

Now we can either sit here and just keep wriitng and moaning on this blog or we can join together to do something about it ?????

Hi,

just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with Zenitude management company?  Our current management company have gone bankrupt and the proposed new management company is Zenitude, not details yet but I imagine there will be rent reductions, will wait and see.

Hi 

I really believe that none of us would have bought these scam places were it not for the fact that this whole system was devised by the French Government or French Tourisim Department ....right . We were all told that this scam was backed by the French Government ....right ?  Instead of suing the bust Management Companies and stupid Banks I would like to know has anyone out there though or tried to sue the French Government in any way ??? I would really like to know as I would like to do it .

Anyone going out to Paris on the 12th or 19th of May?  

If you are can you tell me what is discussed as the e-mail was in French - I did ask them to send me one in english but I got no reply !

I have a feeling its about re-furbishing the apartments .... guess who will be asked to pay for this and in exchange I'm sure they will look for a reduction in the rent ?

 

Can I refuse to pay for the refurbishment - where would that leave us?

Any information would be appreciated
